Opportunity:

Pathologists' Assistant

Job Details:

* Day shift position with no on-call, night, weekend, or autopsy coverage required
* ASCP certified Pathologists' Assistant - PA(ASCP) certification required
* Must have prior grossing experience and be able to perform high complexity testing
* Perform gross examination and dissection of large/complex specimens
* Perform gross examination and dissection of small biopsies
* Sectioning of surgical pathology specimens required
* Macroscopic description of gross anatomic features required
* Hospital clinical laboratory experience required
* Epic Beaker and Voice Dictation experience desired
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
* At least 1 reference required
* Candidates may float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
* Kentucky state license or compact license required
