Opportunity:

RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY OB/ED

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule with alternating weekends required
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:3 in an 8-bed unit
* Work alongside a team consisting of 1 charge nurse and 2-3 RNs per shift
* Perform procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
* Utilize equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
* Document using Meditech/CPN EMR system
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring
* Must have EFM competency, SVE competency, and C-section circulation experience
* Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
* Internal monitor placement competency preferred
* Experience in a Level IV high-volume unit preferred
* Previous HCA assignment or employment preferred
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only - t-shirts are not acceptable

This facility is a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit located on the 4th floor of the main building, featuring 8 beds and a dedicated team of 25 staff members. The unit is equipped with advanced medical technology and offers a dynamic work environment where nurses perform a wide range of obstetric procedures. The facility maintains permanent positions on the unit and fosters a collaborative team-oriented culture with an emphasis on positive patient outcomes.
