Opportunity:

CT/XRAY Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Thursday night shift schedule (4 x 10-hour shifts)
* Shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Block schedule required Monday through Thursday
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* Perform both CT and X-ray imaging procedures
* After midnight, tech will be the only one on shift performing both CT and X-rays independently
* Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* 1:1 patient ratio
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: any color accepted
* No parking fee
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
* Required skills include: CT imaging (abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, vascular), multiplanar reconstruction, 3D rendering, preparation and administration of contrast media, venipuncture, starting peripheral IVs, radiation safety, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds and a daily census of approximately 50 patients with around 55 visits per day. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services. The organization maintains high standards of patient care across a broad range of age groups and medical needs.
