Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Located on the 5th Floor Medical unit within the main hospital
* 45-bed unit with a staff of 90 total employees
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, and 4-5 MSTs
* Patient ratios of 4-5 patients per nurse on nights
* Work with equipment including lifts, Dynamap, and cardiac monitoring equipment
* EMR system: Meditech
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Cardiac and ICU experience preferred
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* NIH certification preferred
* Perform cardiac drips and cardiac catheter management
* Perform chest tube management, wound care, and TPN/lipids administration
* Team-oriented attitude with a positive approach toward staff and providers required
* Self-scheduling available as allowed
