Opportunity:
MRI Technologist
Job Details:
* Work 12-hour shifts primarily Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM with variable coverage hours as needed
* Night shift hours Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM
* An aide will be working alongside this position for all hours
* Call may be assigned depending on staffing and department needs but is not regularly assigned
* Perform MRI procedures including neuro with perfusion, musculoskeletal, abdomen, critical care patients, pediatric (including some NICU), and general anesthesia patients
* Utilize equipment including EPIC, PACS, Siemens Skyra 3.0T, Siemens Altea 1.5T, and temporary mobile MRI Siemens Aera 1.5T
* Computerized charting via EPIC system
* Work in a 2-room department with no floating to other units
* Orientation period of 2 to 4 weeks on day shift with possible back-up call until comfortable working night shift
* One year of experience in a clinical diagnostic hospital setting preferred
* Related Bachelor's or Associate's degree required
* Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT in MRI, and Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) MRI license
* Non-Oregon licensed candidates may be eligible for a 90-day temporary license
* Dress code requires medical scrubs that are neat, clean, and wrinkle-free; no spandex, leggings, denim, tank tops, bare-midriff tops, low-cut tops, miniskirts, shorts, sweatpants, or sweatshirts; closed-toe shoes required
