Job Details:

* Various days of the week shifts available
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs
* On-call required per unit needs
* Self-scheduling type
* Patient ratio of 1:2 on days, nights, and weekends
* 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
* First-time travelers accepted as long as experience requirements are met
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (hard requirement - advanced certification alone will not be accepted)
* Compact state license required
* Navy scrubs required
* Fast-paced environment with approximately 150 births per month
* Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit with 14 staffed beds and 12 rooms
* Must be able to circulate in the OR
* Must be able to place internal monitors
* OB triage experience required
* Must be able to manage laboring and high-risk OB patients
* Unit delivers down to 31 weeks/1500g
* Experience with Magnesium Sulfate therapy, insulin drips, and oxytocin/cytotec induction required
* Must be comfortable managing pre-eclampsia, PPROM, HELLP Syndrome, and postpartum hemorrhage
* Experience with fetal monitoring including external and internal fetal monitoring required
* Special equipment used includes IUPC, FSE, Fetal Monitoring, and Jada
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not allowed during the following time periods: June 28 July 9, 2026; September 2 September 12, 2026; October 25 November 4, 2026

Facility:

This facility operates a dedicated Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit with 14 staffed beds and a high-volume delivery environment averaging 150 births per month. The unit is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy. The facility manages a wide range of patient diagnoses including low-risk perinatal cases, high-risk pre-eclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction, preterm contractions, and PPROM, with one OR and PACU on the floor.
