Job Details:
* 12-hour shifts required
* Every other weekend required with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* Block schedules approved but not required
* No on-call required; however, call may be required due to low census
* Expected patient ratio of 1:5 with documented ratios of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to up to 6 other acute care departments within the hospital
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* 30-bed unit with a daily census of 27 patients; adults and geriatrics patient population
* Seasoned traveler required with at least one prior travel contract
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: Blood Product Administration, Central Line Care/Management, Feeding Tube Care and Management, Heparin Protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV Insulin Protocols, Management of Dysrhythmias, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen Administration, Oxygen Tanks, PCA, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC Line Management, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Telemetry, Telemetry On-Unit Monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code Teams, and Wound Care/Wound Vac
* Dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping; print tops are not acceptable
* Free parking available in any unrestricted surface parking lots designated for Employee/Visitor Parking
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
