Opportunity:

Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Job Details:

* Evening shift from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
* Monday through Friday schedule, 5 x 8-hour shifts
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform laboratory analysis on clinical specimens using established laboratory procedures
* Review and evaluate quality controls, specimen integrity, and instrumentation to ensure accurate results are reported
* EPIC experience required
* Wellsky experience highly preferred
* BS or BA in Medical Technology or related sciences required
* Minimum two years of experience in all aspects of the clinical laboratory required
* Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license from the State of California required
* Current BLS certification required
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Must be able to handle stressful work situations and multi-task effectively
* Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient use of standard laboratory equipment and instrumentation required
* Proficient use of general office equipment including computers, printers, and calculators required
* Must be able to understand both oral and written instructions in English
