Open Position: Dietitian - Registered Dietician

Opportunity:

Clinical Dietitian

Job Details:

* Day shift position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* No on-call responsibilities
* Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD)
* 3-5 years of experience preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent required
* Master's Degree required only if eligibility for examination began on or after 1/1/2024
* Dietetic internship or equivalent required
* Current BLS certification required
* Perform nutritional assessments and reassessments to identify patients at nutritional risk
* Develop and implement individualized nutritional plans of care for patients with special needs
* Monitor nutritional intake and initiate appropriate interventions based on patient response
* Provide patient and family education on nutrition and medical nutrition therapy
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to communicate and document all nutritional interventions
* Serve as an educational resource for healthcare team members, dietetic interns, and ancillary personnel
* Orient and instruct new personnel on job duties, assignments, and clinical activities
