Opportunity:

RN - Oncology

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts with various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs, approximately 6 weekends per 6-week period
* No on-call required
* Day shift patient ratio of 1:4; night shift patient ratio of 1:5; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs
* Candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
* 2 years of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Floating required within scope to meet facility needs and may include floating to sister facilities
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Navy
* Unit serves as an Oncology/GYN-ONC/Palliative/Med Tele unit with 36 beds
* Adult patient population
* Required certifications: BLS, Colorado or Compact RN license; Oncology certification preferred but not required; Chemo (ONS/ONCC) preferred
* Oncology skills checklist required
* Required skills include but are not limited to: accessing/managing ports, administration of chemotherapy and blood products, central line care, continuous and IV push chemotherapy, neutropenic precautions, PCA pump management, PICC line care, wound care, and sepsis management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not allowed during the following blackout periods: June 28?July 9, 2026; September 2?September 12, 2026; October 25?November 4, 2026
