Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts with various days of the week
* 7 weekend shifts per contract required per unit needs
* No on-call required
* 2 years of acute care experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of RN acute care experience
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, CPR, CO or Compact RN License
* Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs - candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience in flexible staffing ratio environments
* Must be comfortable floating within scope to meet facility needs and may float to sister facilities based on facility needs
* Scrub color: Navy
* Experience with stroke, COVID, and med/surge patients required
* Unit serves adult and geriatric patient populations with diagnoses including stroke, COVID, and med/surge
* Required skills: MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care and management, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
* 30 total staffed beds, 24 rooms, daily census of 34
