Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts with an expected volume of 30-40+ scans per shift
* Self-scheduling based on seniority
* Must be open to working shifts outside of contracted start times, including days and nights
* Must be open to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* Very high volume, fast-paced environment
* May be asked to assist with patient transport based on staffing needs
* Must be able to work independently and efficiently
* Community hospital experience required
* Works with GE and Toshiba equipment, including a 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and a 64-slice GE Lightspeed
* Primarily serves emergency department patients with some outpatient volume; high volume primary stroke receiving center
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
* No on-call required
* No floating between units required
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Navy Blue

This acute care hospital operates with 212 staffed beds and serves a diverse patient population across multiple care settings. The facility features a very busy imaging department that primarily supports emergency department patients and functions as a high-volume primary stroke receiving center. The department is equipped with advanced CT scanning technology and utilizes Epic for charting, providing a modern and well-supported clinical environment.
