Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele (Float)

Job Details:

* 36 or 48 hour shift options available
* Night and day shift availability with variable weekend schedule
* Float position - will float between MS and Tele units
* At least 6 weekend shifts required every 6-week period
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated and no RTO within first 2 weeks of assignment
* Maximum RTO of 2 weeks total for the assignment
* Must be able to work 3 out of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
* 2 years of experience required with MS/Tele background required
* First-time travelers accepted with minimum 3 years of experience and large facility experience (400 beds or larger)
* California RN license required and must be active at time of submission - no pending or temporary licenses accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* EKG exam administered on first day of orientation - must pass to move forward with contract
* Charting system experience required - Epic
* Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
* Care for adult medical and surgical patient populations across all diagnoses
* Must have Telemetry and ACLS skills
* Key clinical skills include cardiac telemetry monitoring, central line care and management, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, heparin protocols, arterial line management, and wound care among others
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services
