Job Details:

* 3x12-hour night shifts per week with various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs, with 6 weekend shifts per 13-week contract
* No on-call required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Colorado or compact RN license required
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 days, 1:5 nights; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs - candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
* Scrub color: Navy
* 28-bed inpatient cardiac unit with med/surg overflow
* Care for cardiac/telemetry vascular patients, CABG patients 2-3 days post-op, cath lab patients, and TAVR patients
* Administer and manage drips including amiodarone, insulin, nitroglycerin, cardizem, and heparin
* Prior experience with cardiac patients required
* Float as required to med/surg units and may float to sister facilities based on facility needs
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

This medical center is a full-service inpatient facility featuring a dedicated 28-bed cardiac telemetry unit with med/surg overflow capabilities. The facility supports a wide range of cardiac care services including telemetry monitoring, post-surgical cardiac care, and advanced cardiovascular procedures. Comprehensive interdisciplinary support is available on-site, including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced environment for both staff and patients.
