Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* 4 x 10-hour day shifts with every other weekend (EOW) schedule
* First to float policy in effect
* Call required: typically 1 night call shift per week (Monday-Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
* Weekend call required: typically 1 weekend call per 4-week period (Saturday and Sunday 24-hour coverage)
* Holiday call distributed equally among all staff
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* No floating requirements
* Work in facility with 3 Cath Lab rooms and 1 Hybrid OR
* Average caseload of 13-26 cases per day
* Common diagnoses and patient types include STEMI, NSTEMI, CAD, PAD, PVD, CHF, heart blocks, and cancer
* Perform cardiac, peripheral vascular, interventional radiology, and pacemaker insertion cases
* Responsible for controlling the C-arm during cases, assisting physicians during procedures (scrubbing), and patient preparation
* Minimum 1 year of cardiac case experience required
* Interventional radiology experience preferred
* EMR systems used: Merge and Cerner for hemodynamic monitoring
* X-ray equipment: Philips machines
* Hospital-provided OR scrubs required
* Required certifications: ARRT, BLS Certification

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology department with 24/7 cardiologist coverage. The department is equipped with three dedicated catheterization lab rooms and a hybrid OR, supporting a wide range of cardiac, peripheral vascular, and interventional radiology procedures. Management and charge staff are readily available to support the clinical team during standard operating hours.
