Opportunity:

Radiography Orientation Instructor

Job Details:

* 30?40 hours per week with full-time hours available based on candidate preference
* Onsite position at Mission Center Building
* Class schedule: Monday 9:00 AM?12:00 PM and 5:30?8:30 PM; Tuesday 6:30?9:30 PM; Wednesday 9:00 AM?12:00 PM and 5:30?8:30 PM; Thursday 6:30?9:30 PM
* Hours include class instruction time plus preparation time
* Responsible for planning and delivering the program's orientation curriculum for newly admitted radiography students
* Introduce students to program policies, professional expectations, patient-safety and radiation-safety fundamentals
* Prepare students for success in online didactic, face-to-face laboratory, and clinical components of an 18-month program
* Work under the direction of the Program Director and in coordination with the Clinical Coordinator
* Set the tone for student professionalism, engagement, and readiness
* Ensure each incoming cohort receives a consistent, equitable, and well-documented orientation experience
* Maintain accurate student orientation completion records
* Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and professional learning environment
* Strong interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills required
* Familiarity with JRCERT supervision policies and program compliance requirements required
* Proficiency with standard office software and learning management/student information platforms required
* Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field required, or equivalent experience and training
* Teaching hospital experience required
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal

Facility:

This leading academic medical center operates an 18-month, full-time entry-level radiography training program developed in partnership with a local community college. The program integrates asynchronous online coursework, weekly online instructor meetings, face-to-face laboratory sessions, and supervised clinical rotations across multiple affiliated imaging sites. The curriculum is designed to develop clinical competence, critical thinking, effective communication, and professionalism, and is pursuing accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Upon completion, graduates are eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination in radiography.
