Opportunity:

Radiology Didactic Trainer

Job Details:

* Onsite position located at Mission Center Building
* 30-40 hours per week with full-time hours available
* Class schedule: Monday 9:00 AM?12:00 PM and 5:30?8:30 PM, Tuesday 6:30?9:30 PM, Wednesday 9:00 AM?12:00 PM and 5:30?8:30 PM, Thursday 6:30?9:30 PM
* Deliver didactic instruction within an 18-month radiologic technologist training program across six consecutive 11-week terms
* Design and deliver course content aligned with JRCERT Standards and ARRT content specifications
* Evaluate student learning using objective, equitable, and documented criteria
* Teach courses covering radiographic positioning and procedures, radiation physics and protection, image production, and patient care
* Advise and support students, identifying and addressing academic difficulty early
* Analyze course outcomes data and translate findings into instructional improvements
* Contribute to curriculum currency, outcomes assessment, and continuous quality improvement efforts
* Proficiency with standard office software, learning management systems, and educational technology platforms required
* Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field required (or equivalent experience/training)
* Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography R(R) required
* Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) state license required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal

Facility:

This world-renowned academic medical center operates a comprehensive 18-month radiologic technologist training program developed in partnership with a local community college. The program integrates asynchronous online coursework, weekly online meetings, face-to-face laboratory sessions, and supervised clinical rotations across multiple affiliated imaging sites. The institution is pursuing accreditation from JRCERT and approval from the California Department of Public Health's Radiologic Health Branch, with graduates eligible to sit for the ARRT certification examination in radiography.
