Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Details:
* 8-hour day shifts
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed
* 2 years of experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* 1:1 patient ratio experience required
* Patients served include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Nuclear cardiology experience required
* Adult and hospital experience required
* PET experience preferred
* Pediatrics experience preferred
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, CNMT, NMTCB, and ARRT (N) or ARRT (R)
* Required skills include: 3 Phase, Bone, Brain, Cancer Survey, Drawing Venous Blood, DTPA Aerosol, Exercise/Rest procedures, Flow/Function, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, I-123 Uptake Scan, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Liver Imaging, MUGA Scan, Pharmacological Stress, Renal, Sestamibi Parathyroid Scan, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials, Uptake Scan, Ventilation/Perfusion, and Whole Body
* Equipment experience with Philips and Siemens systems required
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* 40 orientation hours required
* Pre-approved time off: one request allowed, must be disclosed at time of submittal and cannot be within the first two weeks of the assignment
