Open Position: RN - Rehab Inpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2093.80

Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts required
* Every other weekend scheduling requirement
* Patient ratio of 5-7:1
* May be floated to other Med Surg departments
* Rehab experience required
* Med Surg experience preferred
* BLS certification required
* Virginia nursing license required
* Work with equipment including vitals machines, Baxter IV pumps, SCDs, and bladder scanners
* Document using Meditech system
* Perform medication administration including IVs, PICC, and PEG tube administration
* Perform bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley catheterization, bladder irrigation, and blood administration
* Dress code: Navy blue or white solid scrubs
* Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiatrist, Physician Assistant, and Neuropsychologist
* Focus on improving patient functional independence and achieving patient goals

Facility:

This facility features a 35-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit staffed with 2-4 technicians depending on census. The unit offers an opportunity to work alongside a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team dedicated to improving patient functional outcomes. The facility is equipped with modern medical technology and utilizes an electronic documentation system to support high-quality patient care delivery.
