Opportunity:
RN - Emergency Department
Job Details:
* Work in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team
* Assess patient and family needs and initiate appropriate interventions
* Plan and implement patient and family education
* Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health and situations
* Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
* Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care
* Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
* Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
* Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice
* May be required to work beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
* On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
* Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
* Current Montana Registered Nurse licensure required
* American Heart Association BLS certification required
* Experience in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or other acute care settings preferred
* Experience in pre-hospital settings such as Ski Patrol, Search & Rescue, or EMS preferred
* Outpatient or walk-in clinic experience preferred
* Knowledge of electronic health record operating systems preferred
