Job Details:

* 36 or 48 hour shift option available
* Weekend coverage required with 6 shifts per 6-week period
* Patient ratios of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required based on schedule
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS*, PALS*
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Special equipment: CRRT (NXXT Stage)
* Required skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVVHD/CRRT, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, infection prevention, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, phlebotomy, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, and ventilator management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
* State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
* All requested time off must be listed at time of submittal

Facility:

This facility is a well-equipped medical-surgical ICU unit operating with 16 beds across 12 rooms and a daily census of 14 patients. The unit provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services and is part of a larger health system that maintains high standards for patient care. The facility utilizes advanced technology including CRRT equipment and the Epic charting system to support clinical staff in delivering quality care to adult and geriatric patients.
