RN - Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour day shifts
* Weekend coverage required - 6 weekends per contract (Saturday and Sunday for day shifts)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers are not accepted
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
* Unit type: LDRP
* Patient age groups: Neonates and Adults
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
* Key skills required include but are not limited to: Labor & Delivery, Cesarean Section, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, External and Internal Fetal Monitoring, Newborn Assessment, Epidural Anesthesia, High Risk Antepartum, Couplet Care, and Triage of obstetrical patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation

Facility:

This facility is a well-equipped hospital offering comprehensive Labor and Delivery services within an LDRP unit setting. The unit consists of 14 rooms and 15 beds with a daily census of 14, supporting a broad range of obstetrical and neonatal care needs. The facility provides robust interdisciplinary support services to ensure high-quality patient care across a wide spectrum of maternal and newborn conditions.
