Opportunity:

Medical Assistant - Gynecologic Oncology Clinic

Job Details:

* 5 x 8-hour day shifts per week
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* MA-C or MA-R certification accepted
* Minimum 6 months of experience required; at least 1 year preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS and MA-C or MA-R
* Charting system: EPIC
* Must have own reliable transportation
* Role is temp-to-perm; travelers must be open to permanent placement
* Assist with setting up rooms for procedures and rooming patients
* Respond to patient inquiries via portal within scope of practice
* Collect vitals and patient history
* Support care coordination and patient navigation activities
* Ensure overall clinic flow and that patients receive necessary treatments and tests
* Work alongside a team of 4 GYN Oncologists, one benign GYN surgeon, and 4 APPs
* Support a sensitive, high-needs patient population in a low-volume outpatient setting
* Skills required include adult outpatient clinic experience, height/weight, OB/GYN, and obtaining vital signs
* May float within skillset as needed to meet facility needs

This outpatient gynecologic oncology clinic provides specialized care for a sensitive patient population facing complex gynecologic conditions. The clinic operates with a collaborative team approach, supporting both surgical and clinical care across a team of oncologists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and is committed to delivering thorough, compassionate care through strong care coordination and patient navigation.
