Job Details:

* 5 x 8-hour day shifts per week
* No weekend requirement
* No on-call requirement
* Minimum 6 months of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* MA-C certification required (MA-R not accepted)
* BLS certification required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Primary focus on Medical Assistant clinical support in a Family Medicine outpatient setting
* Occasional front-office duties may include patient check-in/check-out, phone coverage, scheduling, managing patient messages, and supporting clinic flow
* Required skills include healthcare terminology, adult outpatient clinic experience, hearing screenings, vision testing, obtaining vital signs, recording history/medications/allergies, nebulizer treatments, immunizations, labeling of specimens, throat and urine specimen collection, venipuncture, blood glucose via glucometer, telephone triage, TB test administration, follow-up phone calls, suture removal, rooming patients, and pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
* Provider must have their own reliable transportation
* May float within skillset to meet facility needs as needed
