Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday with holiday rotation
* Weekend rotation may be required
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
* Floating to sister facilities required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
* BLS not required
* Travel experience required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20
* Skills required include: sterilization, decontamination, high-level disinfection, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, steam sterilization testing and monitoring, biological and chemical indicators, case carts, immediate-use steam sterilization, and use of washers/sterilizers
* Experience with robotic, laparoscopic, orthopedic, neurological, urological, and transplant cases preferred
