Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 36 hours per week with weekend rotations
* Block scheduling type
* No on-call requirement
* Patient ratios of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
* Daily census of 27 with 7 beds in the unit
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
* First-time travelers will not be accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS; TNCC preferred
* Charting system: CERNER
* Scrub color: Wine
* Required skills include rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, advanced life support, IV access, and other clinical interventions
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Minimum 2 manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
* BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)

This facility is a well-equipped emergency department that provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:3 and is supported by a strong interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretarial staff. The department is committed to delivering high-quality emergency care and utilizes CERNER for charting to ensure efficient and accurate patient documentation.
