Job Details:

* Shift times: 06:45?15:15, 09:30?18:00, or 14:45?23:15
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Up to 2 weekends of on-call per month and up to 2 weekdays of on-call per week; holiday call required if needed
* No floating within scope to meet facility needs and no floating to sister facilities
* Maximum of 5 days of requested time off
* Scrubs provided by the facility for this position
* Charting system: Excellian/Epic
* Parking available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
* 6 operating rooms total (4 standard ORs, 1 Hybrid, 1 PV)
* Daily census of 8?10 patients; patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Required cardiac surgery case experience: CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and transcatheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
* Required vascular surgery case experience: endovascular and open vascular procedures including AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm with fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation and repositioning
* Required CVOR case experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and ECMO
* Preferred case experience: General, Endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatrics, and Transplant
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, and NBSTSA or NCCT

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma designation. The facility operates 672 staffed beds and features a dedicated CVOR suite with 6 operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular room. The organization supports a high-acuity cardiac and vascular surgical program and utilizes Excellian/Epic for electronic charting.
