Job Details:

* Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekends and holidays required as needed
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* May be required to float between Downtown and Northeast campuses based on census and staffing needs
* 2+ years of emergency room experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of ER experience
* South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
* Epic charting experience required
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Free parking available with pass distributed at pickup
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block scheduling available upon request but not guaranteed
* Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Treats approximately 110 patient visits per day across 23 rooms
* Required skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line care, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, triage, phlebotomy, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and stroke and STEMI care
* Special procedures include chest tubes, procedural sedation, intubation, and TPA/TNK administration
* Special equipment includes ventilators and BiPAP machines
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Facility:

This acute care hospital operates with 75 staffed beds and offers a comprehensive emergency department serving a diverse patient population. The facility is both a STEMI-certified and stroke-certified facility, equipped to handle high-acuity cases including trauma, neurological emergencies, and complex medical conditions. The emergency department is supported by a full range of interdisciplinary services and operates across multiple campuses to meet the needs of the surrounding community.
