Open Position: RN - NICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2170.84

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays
* Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:4 depending on patient acuity
* Work in a 108-bed NICU unit staffed with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
* Utilize equipment including nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes
* Document using CPN and Meditech systems
* Float before permanent staff to areas including PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU caring for patients 2 years and under
* Care for surgical and cardiac patients as well as premature infants at least 28 weeks and above
* Manage central lines and respiratory management up to and including intubated patients
* Provide care for trach infants and patients with broviacs
* Assist with procedures including central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations
* Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP
* Required dress code: Royal blue scrubs

This facility is a large, comprehensive hospital housing a 108-bed NICU unit equipped with advanced technology and a multidisciplinary care team. The unit supports a wide range of neonatal cases including surgical, cardiac, and premature infant care, with access to specialized procedures and state-of-the-art equipment. The team is composed of experienced nursing professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care to their most vulnerable patient population.
