Job Details:
* Day/Evening rotating shift schedule with a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
* 8-hour shift times: 06:30?14:30 and 14:30?22:30
* 12-hour shift times: 06:30?18:30 and 10:30?22:30
* Option for Day/Evening rotating 5x8-hour shifts (06:30?14:30 / 14:30?22:30)
* Shift rotation is required
* Call requirements: 2?4 weeknight call shifts and 1?2 weekend call shifts per 4-week schedule
* No call shift exceeds 12 hours in duration
* Weekend call is either Friday and Saturday night only, or Saturday and Sunday during the day only
* Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Must be able to cardiac scrub
* BLS certification required
* Michigan license required in-hand at time of submission (not compact)
* 2 manager/supervisor references required
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* 1:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
* 10-room OR suite
* Performs scrub duties for complex and high-acuity cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures including:
? Cardiac: CABG, MVR, AVR, ECMO, Heart Transplant, LVAD/RVAD, MAZE, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Aortic Balloon/Impella Devices
? Thoracic: VATS Wedge Resection, VATS/Open Lobectomy, Esophagectomy, Bronchoscopy, EGD, Mediastinal Mass Removal, Lung Transplant, Laparoscopic & Open Hiatal Hernia Repair
? Vascular: AAA, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV Fistulas, Fem-distal bypass, Fem-fem bypass, SMA bypass, Vein stripping/ablation
* SPD instrument tracking system Censitrac required
* Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
* Up to two pre-approved time-off requests accepted
* No RTO during the first week of contract
