Open Position: Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Pharmacist Inpatient Days

Job Details:

* Inpatient/acute care pharmacist position working day shifts with variable shift times
* Block scheduling type with 8 weekend shifts (4 weekends) per contract
* 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travel accepted
* Must be proficient with Epic charting system
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Expected to float to like units within scope based on facility needs
* Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 100 patients
* Required skills include: anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
* Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Required certifications and credentials: BLS, ACLS, PharmD, RPh, and Kansas state license all must be in hand at time of submission

Facility:

This inpatient facility operates with a daily census of approximately 100 patients and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and more. The facility serves a diverse patient population across all age groups and maintains a robust pharmacy department integrated within a full-service acute care environment.
