Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Rotating shift schedule with variable days of the week
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs, approximately 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* On-call required per unit needs
* Float required within Women and Infant unit and potentially within metro region per facility needs
* 19-room Women and Infants Labor and Delivery unit
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Navy
* 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; prior travel experience preferred, first-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Colorado or compact RN license required
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2 September 12, 2026; October 25 November 4, 2026; November 22 December 2, 2026; December 20 January 3, 2027
* No blocked scheduling requests permitted
* Self-scheduling unit
* Key skills required include but are not limited to: Labor and Delivery, Cesarean Section, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, External and Internal Fetal Monitoring, Postpartum Hemorrhage management, Epidural Anesthesia, and use of infusion pumps

This facility is a large, well-established health system offering comprehensive Women and Infant services within a dedicated Labor and Delivery unit featuring 19 rooms. The organization provides robust interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services. The facility maintains high standards of patient care and utilizes Epic as its charting system to support clinical staff in delivering quality outcomes.
