Opportunity:

MS Tele RN Nights

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts, 3x12 schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* Every other weekend is required and non-negotiable
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required as needed
* New unit currently built with 18 beds and 30 rooms/beds total
* 24/7 house supervisor coverage available; no off-shift management on-site but leadership available by phone
* Charge responsibilities split between stepdown and 3 West
* Bedside monitors with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse ox capabilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience in MS/Tele required
* Experience with telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and telemetry unit monitoring required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Parking is provided at no cost
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics with common medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary

This acute care hospital features 286 total staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of medical services to its community. The facility supports a robust interdisciplinary team environment and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system. The unit offers strong leadership support and 24/7 house supervisor coverage to ensure quality patient care around the clock.
