Job Details:
* Work 10-hour shifts with available schedules of Days: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM or Evenings: 4:00 PM 2:00 AM
* Work every other weekend, including both Saturday and Sunday
* No on-call required
* No block scheduling required
* Patient ratio of 7
* Serve patients of all ages including adults and pediatrics in the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room
* Conduct crisis risk assessments, biopsychosocial assessments, and mental health evaluations for patients experiencing mental health illness and substance use disorder
* Provide level of care recommendations as a consultant, directed by an ED attending provider or APP
* Perform crisis intervention and care coordination, including discharge planning
* May be required to float to a sister hospital emergency department to perform the same duties if overstaffed
* Must have full independent clinical licensure an associate license will not suffice
* Required licensure: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; 3 years preferred
* Hospital experience preferred
* Experience in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics required
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Required certifications: LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC
* Washington state compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Facility:
This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center, as well as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, with 629 staffed beds. As a teaching hospital, it supports a wide range of clinical specialties and advanced patient care. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers no-cost parking for staff. The emergency department provides comprehensive adult and pediatric services with interdisciplinary support.
