Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

MS/Tele RN

Job Details:

* Work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
* Med/Surg experience required
* Telemetry experience preferred, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule requests can be submitted for approval but are not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidacy submission
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics with a variety of Med/Surg diagnoses
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Charting system: Epic
* No parking cost
* Attendance at staff meetings is required
* Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date

Facility:

This short-term acute care hospital operates with 97 staffed beds and features a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry unit with 41 beds and a daily census of approximately 36 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams, ensuring a well-rounded care environment for adult and geriatric patient populations.
