Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
* Work every 5th weekend
* On-call required - short call (4 hours at the end of a shift) once per week
* Primarily work with Affera PFA systems and Biosense Webster RFA
* 1-2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, Fluoro Permit, CET
* Charting system: Epic/Excellian (preferred)
* Scrubs provided by unit
* Perform and assist with invasive diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD insertions, laser lead extractions, and watchman devices
* Perform EKG lead placement and accurate hemodynamic monitoring
* Scrub EP studies and maintain sterile field
* Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately
* Operate required special equipment including intracardiac electrogram recording and pacing systems, therapeutic ablation systems, electrosurgical units, emergency equipment (TPMs, AEDs), and GE CardioLab
* Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Unit consists of 4 rooms with a daily census of 20
* May float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby as needed
* Community hospital experience required
