Job Details:

* Evening shift schedule to be discussed during interview
* Weekends required as needed
* Block scheduling is not available
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Pediatrics experience required
* Tennessee license required at time of submission
* Driver's license must be included with submission
* Provides consultative services and clinical expertise to evaluate and improve medication usage and therapeutic outcomes
* Promotes continued improvement within the pharmacy scope of practice
* Processes orders and prescriptions to provide medications and pharmaceutical supplies ordered by physicians and authorized medical practitioners
* Advises physicians, healthcare staff, residents, and patients in the safe administration of medication
* Follows established policies and procedures for medication safety, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and compliance activities
* Performs other job functions as assigned or requested
* If assignment includes end-of-year holidays and all three (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's) fall within the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays
* If only 2 holidays fall during the assignment, must be willing to work at least 1 of the 2 holidays
