Open Position: RN - NICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1924.04

Opportunity:

Level II NICU

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour night shifts per week
* Weekend coverage required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float to Baby Nurse as needed
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Charting system experience required; Epic system used
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, NRP Advanced, STABLE
* 50-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates will be considered
* State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
* Orientation: 12 hours completed onsite
* Care for neonatal patient population including premature infants and those with complex diagnoses
* Required skills include: administration of blood and blood products, arterial line management, Bubble CPAP, central line care and blood draw, ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), UAC/UVC catheter management, high flow nasal cannula, neonatal dosage calculations, phlebotomy, phototherapy, and management of chest tubes
* Patient diagnoses include hypoglycemia, hyperbilirubinemia, R/O sepsis, TTN, RDS, prematurity, and IUGR
* Special equipment includes Bubble CPAP and Hi-Flow Nasal Cannula

This facility operates a Level II NICU with 5 beds and a dedicated neonatal care team focused on delivering specialized care to newborns requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The unit supports a broad range of neonatal diagnoses and utilizes advanced equipment to provide high-quality care. The facility maintains a structured staffing model with consistent patient ratios to ensure patient safety and staff support across all shifts.
