Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

* Day shift position
* Patient ratio of 11 patients per day
* Approximately 10 visits per day across 3 rooms
* 24 orientation hours required
* On-call every third week
* One pre-approved time off request allowed
* Perform PET CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures using Siemens equipment
* Department does not perform nuclear cardiology exams
* Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* May be required to float to like units within scope based on facility needs
* Required certifications: ARRT (N), BLS, NMTCB, PET
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Skills required include PET Scan, Bone Scan, HIDA Scan, Gastric Emptying, Cerebral Blood Flow, Renal/Perfusion, Ventilation/Perfusion, Liver Imaging, Whole Body imaging, starting and maintaining IVs, drawing venous blood, and storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials

Facility:

This healthcare facility offers a well-equipped Nuclear Medicine department with interdisciplinary support from Radiology and Transportation teams. The department utilizes advanced Siemens imaging equipment and focuses on a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures, excluding nuclear cardiology. The facility supports a collaborative environment and provides structured orientation to ensure contractors are set up for success.
