Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour night shifts per week
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Dark Gray
* Required skills include: arterial line management, care of the patient on ECMO, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), isolation precautions/PPE, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, nurse driven ECMO protocols, PICC line management, post cardiac surgery care, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Unit consists of 10 beds with a daily census of 7
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation

The unit supports a robust interdisciplinary team and provides access to a wide range of ancillary services to ensure the highest level of patient care. The facility is well-equipped to support advanced critical care procedures and maintains strong staffing standards to support both patients and clinical staff.
