Opportunity:
RN - Trauma ICU
Job Details:
* Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
* Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* Epic charting experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed
* Half of weekend shifts required per contract
* One pre-approved time off request allowed
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs
* Preferred skills include: ICP monitoring, ventilator management, Level I Trauma
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Unit consists of 14 rooms and 16 beds with a daily census of 14
* Patients served are adult age group

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center offering a highly specialized intensive care unit dedicated to the most critically ill and injured patients. The unit is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. The organization provides a collaborative care environment with access to advanced resources to ensure the highest level of patient outcomes.
