Job Details:

* Position is approximately 0.6 FTE, working Monday through Friday (with flexibility for Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday schedules)
* Approximately 24 hours per week with workday hours varying based on hospital census
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* No block schedules required
* Expected patient ratios of 1:5-10
* Approximately 5 visits per day with a daily census of 5
* Primary work will be inpatient therapy with the potential to float to other nearby facilities based on facility need and therapist ability
* May float between units per unit needs
* Treats adults and geriatric patient populations
* Patient diagnoses include deconditioning, weakness, impaired balance, impaired mobility, sepsis, COPD, CHF, PVD, and post-operative cases including THA, hip fracture ORIF, TKA, shoulder, and spine
* Works within a therapy team consisting of PT, OT, and SLP
* Special equipment includes Hoyer lifts, Sara/Stedi lifts, parallel bars, therapy stairs, stationary bike, and NuStep
* Charting system is Epic (experience preferred)
* Scrub color: any color
* No parking fee
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and Washington State License
* 20 orientation hours required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Facility:

This is a critical access, rural hospital with 23 total staff beds and a smaller inpatient census. The facility provides interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary. The therapy department works collaboratively across PT, OT, and SLP disciplines to provide care to a lower acuity inpatient population.
