Opportunity:

Acute Care PT

Job Details:

* 0.6 FTE position working approximately 24 hours per week
* Schedule is generally Monday through Friday with flexibility for Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday
* Approximately 5 hours per day based on hospital census
* No on-call required
* No weekend shifts required (rare coverage may be needed for PTO/sick needs)
* No block schedules required
* Expected patient ratios of 1:5-10
* Approximately 5 patient visits per day
* Primary work location is inpatient therapy with potential float to other facilities based on need and therapist ability
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations with various diagnoses including deconditioning, weakness, impaired balance, impaired mobility, sepsis, COPD, CHF, PVD, and post-operative cases (THA, hip fracture ORIF, TKA, shoulder, spine, etc.)
* Work within a therapy team consisting of PT, OT, and SLP
* Use of special equipment including Hoyer lifts, Sara/Stedi lifts, parallel bars, therapy stairs, and stationary bike/NuStep
* Charting system is Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: any color
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and Washington State License
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission

Facility:

This critical access rural hospital operates with 23 total staff beds and a daily census of approximately 5 patients. The facility offers a collaborative, interdisciplinary care environment with support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support. The facility serves a lower acuity inpatient population and emphasizes team-based care in a close-knit rural healthcare setting.
