Job Details:

* Day shift schedule working 4x10-hour shifts
* Shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Up to 2 of the 3 winter/summer holidays required
* Call or standby requirement from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for those with pediatric experience
* Work across inpatient and outpatient settings
* Average 8-10 studies per day for outpatient; as needed for inpatient units
* Common imaging types include 3D Echo, TEE, CVOR special procedures such as Watchman and TAVR
* Pediatric experience preferred; NICU experience preferred but not required
* Will not be required to float or cover other areas
* Department operates 5 scanners using Philips EPIC CVX equipment
* Charting system: EPIC and Philips Intellispace Cardiovascular
* RNs will handle IV starts for bubble tests and assist with Definity tests
* Scrub color: Hunter Green
* Orientation: One day NEO plus 2 days of on-floor orientation
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
* Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS Certification, ARDMS-RDCS, and Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI

This acute care facility operates at a Level 2 Trauma designation and maintains a well-equipped Echocardiography department with 5 state-of-the-art Philips EPIC CVX scanners. The department supports a broad range of cardiac imaging services including advanced procedures and pediatric cases, with in-house cardiology available for real-time stat reads. The facility partners with a children's hospital for pediatric stat reads, reflecting its commitment to comprehensive and specialized cardiovascular care.
