Opportunity:

RN - MS Float

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts required
* Every other weekend requirement
* Every other holiday requirement
* First to float with floating requirements between units
* 48-hour shifts may be required
* Call or standby requirement with LCD
* Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks
* Patient ratios: Days 1:5 and Nights 1:6
* Nurse aide support available at 1:15 ratio
* Care for surgical patients including total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgery
* Care for medical patients including CHF, CVA, shortness of breath, and diabetic issues
* Telemetry on unit with monitor tech reading strips and RN confirmation required
* Operate RT equipment including CPAP, BiPap, and high-flow oxygen
* No drip titration required
* No charge nurse or house supervisor responsibilities
* Charting system: EPIC
* Any scrub color permitted
* Required certification: BLS
* BSN not required
* Profile review and manager interview required

This acute care facility operates a 61-bed combined medical-surgical float unit providing comprehensive inpatient care. The facility supports a diverse patient population spanning both surgical and medical specialties and utilizes EPIC as its electronic health records system. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring technology and respiratory therapy equipment to support a wide range of patient care needs.
