Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele (Float)

Job Details:

* 36 or 48 hour shift options available
* Night and variable shift scheduling with weekend requirements
* Float position rotating between MS and Tele units
* Must be able to work at least 6 weekend shifts every 6-week period
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated and no RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
* Must be able to work 3 out of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
* Maximum RTO of 2 weeks total for the assignment
* 2 years of experience required with MS/Tele background required
* First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of experience and large facility experience (400 beds or larger)
* Active California RN license required no pending or temporary licenses accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* EKG exam administered on the first day of orientation must pass to proceed with contract
* Charting system experience required Epic
* Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
* Treats adult patient population across all medical and surgical diagnoses
* Must have Telemetry and ACLS experience
* Skills include cardiac telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, IV management, central line care, heparin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and wound care among others
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* 2 professional references from within the past year required at time of submission must be supervisor or higher, no Charge RN references accepted
