Opportunity:
Trauma ICU - Level I Trauma
Job Details:
* Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Preferred certifications: PALS and TNCC
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Level I and Level II Trauma experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs
* Preferred skills: ICP monitoring, ventilator management, Level I Trauma experience
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Adult patient population
* Unit consists of 14 rooms and 16 beds
* Half of weekend shifts required per contract
* One pre-approved time off request allowed
* State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

This Level I Trauma facility features a dedicated Trauma ICU equipped to handle the most critical patient cases. The unit benefits from robust interdisciplinary support services including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more. The facility is committed to delivering high-acuity critical care with a strong focus on collaborative, patient-centered treatment for adult populations.
