Registered Dietitian

Job Details:

* Assignment length of 13 weeks or 26 weeks at traveler's choice
* Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with minor flexibility in work hours
* No weekends and no on-call required
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period; traveler may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2-week period
* Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required, with preference for 3+ years
* Pediatric experience highly preferred; preference for both adult and pediatric clinical experience
* Enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition knowledge and expertise preferred
* Required certification: RD/RDN
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available
* Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no locals accepted
* Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
* Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
* All requested time off must be included at time of submission
* Skills include nutrition assessments, enteral nutrition, total parenteral nutrition, nutrition focused physical exams, therapeutic diet orders, and care across all patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

This facility is a 407-bed acute care hospital recognized as a Magnet facility and a Level II Trauma Center. It has been honored as one of the best hospitals in Alaska and provides a high level of specialized care across a wide range of medical disciplines. The facility uses Epic as its charting system and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.
