Job Details:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience required
* At least 1 year of OR experience required
* Self-scheduling format
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 16 hours of orientation required
* Call requirement of 7 to 8 weekday calls and 3 weekend calls on a 6-week schedule
* Weekend call is evenly split between all nurses
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be required to float to sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
* Daily census of 7 patients with 6 operating rooms
* Scrub color: any color
* Charting system: Meditech (experience required)
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required skills include: abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, abdominoplasty, anterior/posterior repair, appendectomy, arthroscopy, bilateral tubal ligation, breast augmentation, cholecystectomy, closed reduction of fractures, colon resection, colorectal robotic surgery, dilation and curettage, free flap microvascular, gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, gastrointestinal robotic surgery, gynecologic robotic surgery, hernia repair, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted procedures, mastectomy with tram flap reconstruction, neurological robotic surgery, open reduction of fractures, orthopedic robotic surgery, otolaryngologic robotic surgery, thyroidectomy, TORS, total joint replacement, urologic robotic surgery, and Whipple
* Special equipment includes: Hanna Table, DaVinci Robot, Erbe, and Stryker Tower
* Service lines supported include: robotic, orthopedic, GYN, plastics, urology, general surgery, bariatric, ENT, and podiatry
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years
