Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend schedule required
* No on-call or standby requirements
* No floating requirements
* Patient ratio typically 4:1
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC (PALS or ENPC recommended but not required)
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* BSN not required
* Experience with telemetry required - monitor techs and RNs read strips
* RNs and ED Techs perform blood draws and EKGs
* Imaging staff transport patients for X-ray and CT
* Dress code: Any scrub color other than purple
* Orientation provided before first shift
* Work in a Level III Trauma Center with 21 ED beds, 1 trauma bay, and a 4-bed fast track area
* 2 triage rooms with travelers permitted to perform triage
* 4 dedicated psych/seclusion rooms plus 2 convertible crisis rooms available
* 24/7 support from ED physicians, charge RN, house supervisor, and ED techs

Facility:

This Level III Trauma Center operates a busy emergency department seeing approximately 125 patients per day. The facility features 21 ED beds, 1 trauma bay, a 4-bed fast track area, and dedicated psych and crisis rooms. The emergency department is supported by 24/7 in-house security, physician coverage, charge nursing, and ED technicians, providing a well-staffed and structured environment for delivering high-quality patient care.
